Press release

Ampelmann successfully trialed with the first electrical trolley on the Esvagt Froude SOV offshore in the Baltic II wind farm for Siemens Wind Power. This trolley is available and suitable for the existing Ampelmann fleet of A-type and E-type gangways. It can be operated by one person and it can carry various tools, bags and spares up to 200 kg.

Furthermore, Ampelmann is working on a larger trolley that can carry a pay-load of 400 kg that can be used on the wider gangway (120 cm). This A400 gangway is specifically developed for fast-and-easy cargo/people flows and will be released in October 2017.
