On April 19, Ampelmann had the pleasure to receive a delegation of seven Mexican journalists and show them around its production facility in Rotterdam. The visit took place only days before the arrival of Mexico’s president, Enrique Peña Nieto, to the Netherlands on April 24.
The purpose of the president’s trip is to discuss increasing economic cooperation between the two countries in the maritime and offshore energy industries, among others. Both visits are a result of Mexico’s growing interest in reforming the country’s energy sector and collaborating with established market players.
“The Mexican Energy Reform program clearly calls for technologies that increase efficiency in Operational Expenses (OPEX), while meeting the highest safety standards, which ultimately adds value, increases our clients’ productivity and reduces their operational risk and cost,” said Andres Garcia, Business Development Manager Latin America at Ampelmann.
“Judging from the enthusiasm and engagement during the visit of the Mexican press delegation at our production facility in Rotterdam, Ampelmann's access solutions with active motion compensation can play an important role in this transition in the Mexican offshore market. We believe we can deliver a superior level of service and reliability as we consistently focus on the highest workability in transferring people offshore, to make it as easy as crossing the street.”
In further strengthening its relationship with key market players, Ampelmann will attend this year’s Mexican Petroleum Congress, Mexico’s most important oil and gas conference. The 2018 edition will take place in Acapulco, 26-29 September.
