Challenge
Our client was looking for an offshore access solution to perform maintenance at an Oil & Gas platform in the Gulf of Mexico. The landing location was at a height of at least 20m.
Solution
The A-type was installed on an Ampelmann 10-metre pedestal, making it possible to reach landing locations of 20 metres and higher. Ampelmann operated on a 24/7 basis, providing the client with more time flexibility and an extended weather window. Read more here.
