With Ampelmann’s Cargo Drone Services, clients can transfer cargo directly between a vessel and offshore wind turbines, with technicians spending more time on maintenance and less time handling loads. Preload tools, parts and equipment before technicians arrive, retrieve equipment after the job is completed and deliver urgent items on demand during the shift.

Deliver equipment to the turbine before technicians start their shift

Cargo can be delivered directly to the nacelle or transition piece, including to spinning turbines and during night operations. This reduces lifting during productive working hours, allowing technicians to start with equipment in place.  
Retrieve

Collect equipment after technicians complete their work

Our unmanned pick-up system allows cargo to be retrieved without the need for personnel being present at the pick-up or delivery location, reducing manual handling and freeing up valuable technician time for other tasks.

Deliver or pick-up additional tools or parts when they are needed during the shift

Instead of waiting for vessel movements, crane operations or the next planned visit, cargo drones provide a fast and flexible additional ad-hoc logistics option between vessel and turbine at any point in the shift.
